💡 Conversion tips
💨
Why lower the temperature?
Air fryers heat with fast circulating hot air, which is more efficient than an oven. Use about 20°C lower for the same recipe to avoid burning.
⏱️
Why shorten the time?
Hot air hits the food surface directly, so it cooks faster — usually about 20% shorter. Open once halfway to check browning.
🧪
Trying a new recipe?
When unsure, cook at the converted temperature for half the time first, then add more gradually. Better than overcooking in one go.
